Dear Wyoming Business Professional

On behalf of Wyoming DECA, I would like to invite you to become an event sponsor for the
2022 Wyoming DECA State Career Development Conference being held in Cheyenne WY, February 21, 22.  Approximately 200 DECA members representing many Wyoming high schools will meet at the Red Lion Inn Hotel to compete for the organization’s top honors and earn the right to represent Wyoming at the International Career Development Conference in Atlanta, GA this spring.

DECA, Inc is comprised of more than 230,000 high school members and their marketing/business teachers that are interested in marketing and business-related fields.  The DECA chapters in the state operate as local chapters in order to complete community service projects, partnership with business projects, entrepreneurship projects and much more to become more aware of business and industry in their local communities.  Perhaps you know a local DECA member or were one yourself.

The State Conference is a culminating event for these students where they will be competing in approximately 50 marketing-related events.  There are numerous individual events such as Principles of Business Management Administration, Human Resources Management, Professional Selling, Financial Literacy and the Stock Market Game; and there are team events such as Finance Operations Research, Community Service Project, Sports and Entertainment Promotion Plan, Business Law and Ethics Team Decision Making and the International Business Plan.  DECA would like to involve the businesses in Wyoming in our organization.  We are looking for businesses to sponsor the trophies and certificates necessary to recognize these students in each of the events offered.

Sponsorship includes your name or business’s name in the conference program.  Your or business’s name will also be mentioned as the sponsor when presenting the trophies for your event on Tuesday afternoon, February 22.  Sponsorship is $200 for Team Events, $100 for Individual Events, and $50 for Chapter Events.  A list of the events is enclosed.  You may select the event you would like to sponsor, or we can select a team, individual, or chapter event for you.  Wyoming DECA is a 501(c) non-profit organization.  Our tax ID number for your taxable donation is 83-6009360.
