Evanston’s DECA Chapter has been active for 50 years and participates in many of our highschool’s community events. We enjoy supporting all of the other groups in our school including football, basketball, student council, etc. We actively volunteer and engage in community events such as trunk or treat and holiday care/gift baskets. We hope to continue to grow our chapter as recruitment the past 2-3 years has been at a high. Evanston’s DECA chapter is looking forward to continuing our community volunteering traditions and passing it on to our new recruitments. These things include spending time and engaging in the retirement homes in our community and reading to the elementary school students in the area. Our chapter tries to create a community not only with weekly meetings and community service but with team bonding opportunities throughout the year. We can’t wait to see our chapter grow and excel through the year!
